  6. April 2012: In recognition of the group’s work, Stuart has been designated as the winner of the European Federation of Medicinal Chemistry Prize for a Young Medicinal Chemist in Academia. This prestigious prize has been established to acknowledge and recognise an outstanding young medicinal chemist working in academia in Europe. The prize will be presented at the XXIInd International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry in Berlin.


  7. April 2012: Stuart has been awarded Junior Scientists Participation Program Fellowship to attend the 47th Burgenstock Conference on Stereochemistry. He will present the group’s work on the development of bromodomain inhibitors.


  8. April 2012: Congratulations to Tim, who won the David Kelly prize for the best poster at the RSC Bioorganic Group Post-graduate Meeting in Cardiff. See Tim collecting his prize here.


  9. February 2012: A post-doctoral position is available as part of the NICHE EU Initial Training Network. This position is now closed.


  10. February 2012: An EPSRC-funded DPhil studentship starting in October 2012 is available in the Hammond and Conway groups. This position is now closed.

November 2011: Eleven PhD studentships and two post-doctoral positions are available in the European Marie Curie Initial Training Network entitled ‘Network for Integrated Cellular Homeostasis’ (NICHE).
